The Munay-Ki Story…

Inca ShamanInka Elders – The Munay-Ki initiations are the “Rites” of the Shaman’s Path of the Q’ero Nation, the descendants of the Inka, the indigenous people of the holy mountains of the Andes in Peru.

Traditionally, one must spend many years in sacred study before and between receiving these Initiatory Rites. The Elders believe that we are at a critical juncture in human history and that these Rites need to be transmitted to as many people as possible.

The prophecies of the ancient Americas speak about a new human appearing on the planet – one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature. The Munay-Ki initiations are the codes for the new human. They are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions.

The ninth Rite, the ‘Creator Rite’ was transmitted for the first time in June of 2006 at the Holy Mountains in the Andes. The nine initiations of the Munay-Ki have only been available until recently to the high wisdom keepers of the Americas.

These Rites are given as the next step in the evolution of humanity; to realign and attune our neural pathways and truly shift human consciousness. These Initiatory Rites, in essence, empower us to step up to the task of assuming stewardship for the Earth and all creation.

There are nine Rites in total. It is hoped that these Rites can be transmitted to as many as possible. Once you have received all nine Rites, it is asked that you pass them on to others. According to the prophecy, we will then witness the birth of a new form of human on the planet and the dawn of a new civilization.

“We are the Ones we have been waiting for.”

History

According to Alberto Villoldo www.munay-ki.org Munay-Ki comes from a Quechua word that means “I love you”. Quechua is the original language still spoken by many of the Q’ero Nation today.

When the nine rites of initiation of the Munay-Ki are shared and received, it means that the person has accepted the stewardship for all creation and can become a person of divine wisdom and power.

As you experience the Munay-Ki, you will feel the presence and sense the wisdom of these luminous ones who have broken out of linear time and now dwell in sacred time, in infinity, free from the grip of karma and rebirth. The Munay-Ki will clear your luminous energy field (LEF) of the psychic sludge left by past traumas. As you raise your level of vibration, these luminous beings will come to you and guide you.

Connect with them, and you will be able to recall stories you never experienced directly, but that are now yours.

Initiation Rites

The training of the Earth keepers has an energetic component, a series of initiations that help us to develop a new architecture in our luminous energy field. When an Earth keeper gifts the Munay-Ki to a student, it is the lineage of luminous beings that transmits itself, that leaps from the head of the Master to the student as they lean into each other and touch, forehead to forehead.

To transfer this energetic information, the Earth keeper simply maintains sacred space and embodies the vibration of the level she/he wants to transmit. While you can’t undergo these initiations on your own, once you are taught them, the Rites are yours to transmit to others as you wish.

You can initiate people in one, a few or all of the Rites but the Pi Stone is only gifted to those who have completed all nine Rites through teacher’s initiation.

The Pi Stone

Pi StoneDuring the gifting of the Munay-Ki Rites we use a Pi Stone, which is symbolic of our luminous energy field. The circular shape represents the archetype for wholeness. The shape also represents the Ouroborous, the serpent of light swallowing its own tail, constantly creating itself, and forming a circle. It symbolizes the eternal unity of things, the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The centre represents our energetic spine, the Kundalini energy that flows through the centre of our bodies, symbolizing our own spiralling DNA.

It is associated with the serpent of light coiled around the base of the spine, approximately 3.142 times (?). When awakened, it spirals up your spine like a figure 8 around your seven chakras, creating a never-ending loop, opening you to higher consciousness.

In Asian folklore, the pi stone symbolized heaven. People would rub it to prevent problems from happening. For 1500+ years of Zen Buddhism, it remains the symbol for karma, a state a balance. “What goes around comes around”. In Shintoism it symbolized good fortune.

Different Types of Torus

Vitruvian Torus

Vitruvian Torus

In geometry a torus (pl. tori) is a circus of evolution generated by revolving a circle in a three dimensional space, about an axis coplanar with the circle. In most contexts it is assumed that the axis does not touch the circle – in this case the surface has a ring shape and is called a ring torus or simply torus if the ring shape is implicit. (Wikepedia)

Ring TorusThe torus is the three dimensional shape of a donut. This shape allows energy to flow up through the center and then wrap around to flow back down on the outside in a constant three dimensional circling. It is said that energy circulates in and around us in a similar pattern, rising in the core, through the crown and down around the luminous energy field that surrounds the body. The cycle repeats continuously.

The Nine Rites

The nine Rites are broken up into three categories:

1. Foundation Rites… 1-2-3 & 4

2. Lineage Rites… 5-6 & 7

3. Rites to Come… 8 & 9

THE FOUNDATION RITES… were the basic four practices before the time of the ‘Munay-Ki’. These Rites consist of:

Healer Rite1. Healer Rite – this connects you to a lineage of Earth keepers from the past that come and assist you in your personal healing and transformation. This Rite awakens the healing power in your hands so that everyone you touch is blessed. The Laika (see Glossary) know that we have tremendous spiritual assistance available to us. These luminous beings work on us during our meditation and sleep time to heal the wounds of the past and our ancestors.

Bands of Power2. Bands of Power Rite – consist of five energetic bands (or belts) that are installed in your luminous energy field. They represent earth, air, fire, water and pure light. They act as filters, breaking down into one of the five elements, any negative energy that comes your way so that these energies can feed your luminous energy field, instead of making you toxic or ill. The Bands of Power are always “ON” and negative energies bounce right off them. In a world filled with fear, the bands provide essential protection.

3. Harmony Rite – in which you receive the transmission of the seven archetypes into your chakras. The first chakra connects with the serpent energy; the second with the jaguar/puma; the third with the hummingbird; fourth with the eagle/condor; fifth with the energy of Huascar Inka – the keeper of the lower (unconscious) world; the sixth with Quetzalcotal – the feathered serpent God of the Americas and the keeper of the middle (waking) world and the seventh is Pachakuti – the protector of the upper (super-conscious) world and keeper of the ‘time to come’.

These archetypes are transmitted into your chakras as seeds. These seeds germinate with fire and you have to perform a number of fire meditations to awaken them and help them grow.

Afterward, they help combust the psychic sludge that has built up in your chakras, so that your chakras can shine with their original light as you acquire a rainbow body. This Rite helps you to shed your past the way a serpent sheds her skin.

4. Seer Rite – this installs filaments of extra-cerebral pathways of light, extending from your visual cortex in the back of your head to your third eye and heart chakras (back and front). This practice awakens your ability to perceive the invisible world. This awakens the “inner seer” and your ability to perceive the invisible world of energy and Spirit.

THE LINEAGE RITES… are the three traditional Initiation Rites practised in the Andes for thousands of years. These Rites consist of:

5. Day Keeper Rite – where you connect to a lineage of Master Healers from the past. The Day keepers were the Masters of the ancient stone altars found in sacred places throughout the world, from Stonehenge to Machu Picchu. The Day keeper is able to call on the power of these ancient altars to heal and bring balance to the world. This Rite is an energetic transmission that connects you to a lineage of Laikas (holy men and women – highest level of Shamans) from the past.

According to lore, the Day keepers call on the sun to rise each morning and set each evening, made sure that humans were in harmony with mother earth (Pacha Mama) and honoured the ways of the feminine. The day keepers were the midwives who attended births and deaths, as well as being the herbalists, or curanderas. They were generally women and were knowledgeable about the ways of the feminine earth. This initiation begins the process of healing your inner feminine and helps you to step beyond fear and practise peace.

6. Wisdom Keeper Rite – the legends say that the ancient wisdom resides in the high mountains (Apus). The ice-covered peaks were revered as places of power, just as other mountains around the world, from Mt Sinai to Mt Fuji to Mt Olympus, have been honoured as places where humans meet the divine. The lineages of Wisdom keepers are medicine men and women from the past who defeated death and stepped outside of time. The job of the Wisdom keeper is to protect the medicine teachings and share them with others where appropriate. This Rite helps you heal your inner masculine. This Rite helps you to step outside of time, become steeped in the medicine teachings and taste infinity.

7. Earth Keeper Rite – connects you to a lineage of Archangels that are guardians of our galaxy and stewards of all life on Earth. They are reputed to have human form and be as tall as trees. The Earth keepers come under the direct protection of these Archangels and can summon their power when they need to in order to bring healing and balance to any situation. This Rite connects you to the stars and the sun – our local star. The Rite of the Earth keepers helps you learn the ways of the Seer and to dream the world into being.

THE RITES TO COME… these are here to help bridge the people to the time after 2012. These Rites consist of:

8. Star Keeper Rite – this is the second last right given and anchors you safely to the time after the great change that is said will occur on or around the year 2012. According to lore, when you receive this Rite, your physical body begins to evolve into that of Homo luminous (light in physical form). The aging process is slowed down, your DNA is re-informed and you become resistant to diseases you were once vulnerable to.

When you receive these Rites, you acquire stewardship of the time to come and all future generations.

9. Creator Rite – this is the last of the Rites given. When you receive this initiation you awaken the God/Creator-light within you and this will bring forth a sense of stewardship for all of creation, from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies in the Universe.

The Creator Rite has never been available on the planet before. There were individuals who attained this level of initiation and awakened their Christ or Buddha consciousness and although spirit-to-human transmission happened on occasion, it was never possible to transmit these from one person to another until now. The Creator Rite was brought forth and gifted to us by the Inka Elders in the Andes during the summer of 2006.

Fire Ceremony

Fire CeremonyAccording to lore, the wisdom teachings of the Earth keepers go back more than 100,000 years. During this time, the teachings have gone through many transformations, as mountain peoples migrated to lush farmland and then crossed the ice in Siberia into the thick forests of the American continent. Today, we’re going through another evolution as we bring this ancient body of knowledge into the 21st century. And although the outer form of the teachings change, the inner form remains the same.

I believe that we’re the new Earth keepers who, it is said, will come from the West.

I would love to hear about your experiences with the insights, and the success and challenges that you encounter in your practice.
